2000 July 31 Monday
My first paychecks are passed into my financially emaciated hands.
July is the first month of this century during which I spend less than I earn, which is the law I live by. July may also be the first month in the last quarter-century that I am completely self-supporting.
Yet my overhead is high, and whether or not July turns a profit may ultimately hang on whether or not my roommate pays his August rent.
Kate McClure is hot, and she's my supervisor. She's sweet enough and strong enough to be a member.
Cecile Urrea is French, and we speak French today.
I stay until 10 tonight and take a car from the office to the apartment.
