My supervisors Kristin Rooney and Marybeth Nankervis are out of the office today, so I too take a holiday.

I open checking and savings accounts at Citibank, an agency client.

The two paychecks that last week seem small today seem sizable. I may never again have as much money to support one person.

I clean my cube.

Dot Giannone is also out this week. She's my department director and the agency queen, and I have the honor of sitting outside her office.

In the evening, I grocery shop. I also exercise and swim. I stay in the pool until it closes and the cleaner evicts me.

I walk along the river's edge. I love my little New Jersey town and its view of the big New York City skyline.
