2000 September 21 Thursday Y&R Party at Supper Club

"For a Mormon, you're a lot of fun!" my colleague Jasmine Lee tells me.

Y&R New York celebrates at the Supper Club on 47th Street in the Theater District tonight.

"We're back!" is the theme of the party.

I go for the food, yet I eat only bread and hors d'oeuvres.

"Cranberry juice. No alcohol," I say eight times tonight. I pee only twice and pay the bathroom attendant two dollars the second time.

I don't drink. I do dance.

I let my body move to the beat until the cover band stops playing.

Janilee Pratt and I are the only Mormons and also the wildest dancers on the floor.
