The Ericsson account team at Y&R New York is developing an ad in Portuguese for the Ericsson Chatboard.

Last Friday, I add an "r" to "Internet" in the Chatboard ad, and today the "r" controversy blows up like a bomb.

"It's my doing," I say. "I take full responsibility." The "r" stays.

I stay at the office until 9:45.

Earlier in the day, Kate and Kristin propose lunch. I want neither to eat nor to spend. A basket of leftover pastries appears in the hall. I add a banana and Key Lime Pie Yoplait and eat a free lunch.

Even though I earn some money now, I live as though I don't.
